Striking Junior Doctors Picket Line

Striking junior doctors are seen on a BMA (British Medical Association) picket line outside UCL (University College London) hospital, on 20th December 2023, in London, England. The BMA union said the proposal to the government was worth an extra 3% on average this year. This is on top of an 8.8% rise already given. The strikes will be for three days from 20 December followed by six days from 3 January. The new-year walkout will be the longest in the NHS's history.
