Battersea Power Station Station Northern Line Opens

Members of the public are the first to use 'Battersea Power Station' station, a new 3km twin-tunnel railway service extension on the Northern Line from Kennington to Battersea via Nine Elms and which finished on schedule during the Covid pandemic, on 20th September 2021, in London, England. Battersea Power Station is a fast-growing residential development of new apartment complexes where Gilbert Scott's coal-fired power station fuelled the capital from 1929-1975.
