Mythical Icarus Hero On Construction Hoarding

A construction industry lorry turns a corner and passes a mythical male hero, believed to be Icarus, on the side of a retailer's construction hoarding in Mayfair, on 26th April 2022, in London, England. Icarus was a minor character in Greek Mythology, famous for not surviving the transition from boyhood to manhood, he was the son of the master craftsman Daedalus, the creator of the Labyrinth. Icarus and Daedalus attempted to escape from Crete by means of wings that Daedalus constructed from feathers and wax.
