Surrounded by the grand architecture created by the Richard Rogers Partnership (now Rogers Stirk Harbour and Partners), we look upwards at this vast atrium that takes passengers through 5A in departures to the outlying gates into Terminal 5B.Terminal 5 has the capacity to serve around 30 million passengers a year, taking £4.3bn to build.
