The gilded winged springbok outside the eastern side of Africa House, the embassy of the Republic of South Africa, on 1st May, in Trafalgar Square, London, England. This is the South African High Commission, formerly the embassy of the Union of South Africa, built between 1931-1933 to designs by Sir Herbert Baker FRIBA and Alexander Thomson Scott.
