Llama Racing Carrots

The owner of a racing Llama holds a carrot between his teeth, while holding on to number 328, his animal entrant, on 13th June 1994, at Wych Cross, Ashdown Forest, East Sussex, England. The animal is part of a herd of llamas and alpacas which compete over jumps for visiting families. The Ashdown Herd of llamas and alpacas was started in 1987. Over the years the numbers have increased and in 1995 what is now the Park was purchased, and opened to the public in 1996. The Ashdown Herd of llamas and alpacas was started in 1987.
