Conservative opposition leader Kemi Badenoch walks back towards parliament after joining British farmers who are marching through Westminster to voice their objections and concerns over the 20 per cent inheritance tax on farm estates, on 4th March 2025, in London, England. The change of policy means that from April 2026, family farms worth more than £1m and which often rely on passing land down through the generations, will face tax bills of 20% when transferring ownership, forcing farmers to sell land or businesses that have been built up over decades.
