Visitors in London's British Museum admire the horse's head, one of the ancient Greek Parthenon Metopes also knows as the Parthenon (Elgin) Marbles, on 28th November 2023, in London, England. The horse's head once drew the chariot of the moon-godess Selene. Ninety-two metopes were rectangular marble slabs placed over the columns of the Athens Parthenon temple depicting scenes from Greek mythology.
